Panathinaikos plagued by problems: Čerin out with illness, Kotsiras with strain

Panathinaikos faces significant absences ahead of their match against Roma for the 8th matchday of the Europa League League Phase.

Adam Čerin is suffering from an illness, and Giannis Kotsiras felt a strain in his calf, resulting in their exclusion from the squad.

Rafa Benitez was forced to give a starting jersey to 20-year-old Giorgos Katris, due to the absence of Davide Calabria as well.

Also out of the squad are Tsigrivelia, Djuricic, Pelistri (injuries), Calabria (illness), Swiderski (suspension), Tetê, Drągowski, Fikay, Bregu (departures), and Mladenovic (no longer considered).

On the bench are Konstantinos Kotsaris, Christos Geitonas, Renato Sanches, Iasonas Skarlatidis, Angelos Vyntra, Nektarios Kaloskamis, and Sotiris Terzis.
