Retsos: "We are a great team and we will go to Germany for qualification"

Olympiacos defender Panagiotis Retsos expressed optimism after the 0-2 defeat by Leverkusen at Falero, regarding qualification for the next rounds of a European competition. In statements to MEGA, he stressed that the team will work to improve ahead of the rematch in Germany.

Retsos reassured about his condition, saying that he does not face any injury problem. He also commented on Leverkusen's effectiveness, which, as he said, took advantage of its opportunities.

"I'm fine, I have nothing. They made two chances and scored two goals. Nothing is over yet. We are a great team and we will go to Germany for qualification. We will work on our weaknesses and mistakes and we will go for qualification," said Panagiotis Retsos.

The international stopper stressed that his team believes in its capabilities and that the result of the first match is not decisive. Olympiacos will try to present itself improved in the rematch, correcting the mistakes of the first match.
