Ronaldo avoids United group chat because of Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand and Cristiano Ronaldo were teammates at Manchester United from 2003 to 2009. Today, they keep in touch via a WhatsApp group chat with other club legends.

Ferdinand revealed that Ronaldo doesn't actively participate in the group chat because of him. He mentioned that CR7 calls him "journalist" after Ferdinand's decision to become a television commentator after his career ended.

"It's funny because Cristiano calls me 'journalist' now," Ferdinand said. "He sent me a message and said: 'I can't say much anymore in the United group since you're in it. Rio the journalist!'"

The two players were instrumental in Manchester United's successes, winning three Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2008 together.
