Shearer Criticizes Isak: "Respect the People Paying £100"

Alexander Isak has reportedly requested a transfer to Liverpool, prompting a reaction from Alan Shearer, who is now a commentator for the BBC.

Shearer stated: "You have to think about the players and the manager. The players today are giving everything for the team and for the thousands of fans who have traveled to Villa Park. And they see another player, wherever he is, who refuses to play despite the fact that he has a three-year contract and is paid over £100,000 a week."

Shearer added: "The fans pay £60 or £70 for a ticket, £30 for petrol or a train ticket. You can imagine the anger they feel that someone takes the audacity to say 'I refuse to play'. You can't do that when you have a three-year contract."
