Spalletti: "Football destroyed me"

Luciano Spalletti confessed in an interview that football has destroyed his personal life. As he characteristically said, it made him sacrifice many personal relationships and time with his family.

He also referred to the defeat that led to his dismissal from the Italian national team, saying that it still makes him lose sleep. "Football destroyed my life... The defeat by Norway made me stay awake at night... It has affected my whole life," he said, among other things.
