Three historic teams, Doxa Drama, Xanthi, and Panthrakikos, are battling for promotion to Super League 2 from the 1st group of the Gamma Ethniki (Third National Division). As the season nears the end of its regular phase, competition is intense.

Doxa Drama, the group leader, aims to return to the professional leagues after five years. Xanthi, with a long history in the Stoiximan Super League, seeks promotion after three years. Panthrakikos, after a period of resurgence, is also vying for the top spot.

Standings (1st Group):

  • Doxa Drama: 30 points
  • Xanthi: 29 points
  • Panthrakikos: 29 points

The Gamma Ethniki championship is held in three phases, with playoffs for the teams finishing in the top six and playouts for the rest. The top two teams from groups 1, 2, 3 and 4, 5, 6 are promoted to Super League 2 for the 2026-27 season.
