Lodygin's emotional farewell to Panathinaikos: 'Pride and awe'

Yuri Lodygin bid farewell to Panathinaikos with an emotional post on Instagram, shortly after the announcement of the termination of their collaboration. The 35-year-old goalkeeper expressed the pride and awe he felt wearing the green jersey.
In his post, Lodygin thanked the fans, his colleagues, Giannis Alafouzos, and team manager Grigoris Papavasileiou. He referred to the unsung heroes of the club and the atmosphere at the "G. Kalafatis" facilities.
Lodygin was acquired from PAS Giannina in 2022, and in 36 matches with Panathinaikos, he had a decisive presence. His performance in the Cup match against Olympiacos at "G. Karaiskakis", where despite his injury, he played with stitches on his head and saved a penalty, stood out.
While he had received an offer from Al Khaleej, Lodygin seems to be close to an agreement with Levadiakos.
