Valbuena: Returning to Olympiacos to end his career

Mathieu Valbuena is returning to Olympiacos in 2025 to end his career. The French former international star, who played for Olympiacos until 2023, announced his return via social media.

In his post, Valbuena expressed his emotion and pride in returning to the club, stressing that it is a privilege to wear the Olympiacos jersey again and an honor to end his career with the team. "It is with immense emotion and indescribable pride that I announce my return to Olympiacos – a club that has etched so much joy and so many unforgettable moments in my heart… Ending my career here, with you, dear fans, is the greatest honor of all. Let's go Olympiacos!" he wrote.
