Valbuena: Returns to Olympiacos, Expresses Emotion

Mathieu Valbuena has returned to Olympiacos to strengthen the B team in Superleague 2. The French midfielder expressed his emotion about returning, emphasizing that it is a privilege to wear the club's emblem again.

In a post on Instagram, Valbuena stated: "With immense emotion and indescribable pride, I announce my return to Olympiacos. Wearing this emblem again is a privilege, but having the opportunity now to pass on the values that shaped me to the younger generation is a real gift."

Valbuena initially signed with Olympiacos on May 27, 2019, and departed on July 10, 2023, having made 150 appearances, scored 18 goals, and provided 43 assists. He won three Championships and one Greek Cup with the Piraeus team.
