UEFA Rankings: Greece Close to 10th Place

A magical night for Greece in European competitions has boosted the country in the UEFA rankings, with 10th place now within reach. The victories of Panathinaikos against Betis and AEK against Celje in the Europa League and Conference League respectively, have brought Greece closer to 10th place, which guarantees direct participation of the champion in the League Phase of the Champions League.

Greece is now just 600 points behind the Czech Republic, while it has increased the gap from 12th place Poland to 1650 points.

The victories of Panathinaikos and AEK added 800 points to Greece's ranking, while the Czech Republic gained only 200 from Olomouc's draw. Sparta Prague was defeated by Alkmaar.
