Roberto Mancini: Set to Take Over Al Sadd

Roberto Mancini is close to returning to the bench, as he has reportedly agreed with Al Sadd of Qatar until 2026.

The Italian coach, who won Euro 2021 with the Italian national team, left the 'Squadra Azzurra' in August 2023 and subsequently took over the Saudi Arabian national team. His collaboration with the Saudis ended in October 2024.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Gazzetta dello Sport, Mancini has accepted a collaboration proposal until May 2026, and official announcements are expected.

If the agreement is finalized, Mancini will take over a team with a tradition of success in Qatari football.
