Dallas Cowboys Remain the Most Valuable Sports Team in the World

The Dallas Cowboys maintain their title as the most valuable sports team in the world, with a value reaching $12.8 billion, according to Sportico. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the team has topped the list.
Their value increased by $2.48 billion compared to last year, demonstrating their strong commercial appeal. In 2024, the Cowboys became the first sports team worldwide to surpass $10 billion in estimated value.
The Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants have also joined the elite group of teams with a value exceeding $10 billion.
The success of the Cowboys is linked to their owner, Jerry Jones, who purchased the team in 1989 for $140 million. Under his leadership, the Cowboys won three Super Bowls in the early 1990s.
The team's popularity remains high, and on August 19, the television series 'America’s Team: The Gambler and his Cowboys' will premiere.
