Cyprus Olympic Committee to Attend European Olympic Academies Congress in Prague

The Cyprus Olympic Committee (KOE) will participate in the Annual Congress of the European Olympic Academy (EOA Congress) in Prague, from October 7 to 10, 2025. The Olympic Academy of the Czech Republic will host the congress.
The KOE will be represented by its President, Mr. Georgios Chrysostomou, Treasurer Mr. Yannos Fotiou, and Olympic Education Officer Mr. Giorgos Korellis.
The theme of the Congress is "Current Issues and Developments of the Olympic Movement." Discussions will focus on issues such as climate change and the future of the Olympic family.
On the first day, the topic "Building Safer Sporting Environments: Cross-Continental Dialogues and Commitments" will be discussed, chaired by Dr. Barbara Petri and Mr. Giorgos Korellis.
Prague, which hosted the 8th Olympic Congress and the 24th IOC Session in 1925, will be a meeting point for the European Olympic community.
