At the Winter Olympic Games in Milan, American athlete Corinne Stoddard caused a series of accidents in speed skating. The 25-year-old lost her balance in two different races, dragging down three of her fellow competitors.

This incident adds to a previous accident Stoddard had at the Beijing Olympics in 2022, where she broke her nose. Despite her injury, she continued to compete.

Stoddard is described by her fellow athletes as a 'funny and carefree girl' off the track.
