2026 Winter Olympics: Greece Leads the Parade of Nations

As the birthplace of the Olympic Games, Greece had the honor of leading the Parade of Nations at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Cross-country skier Nefeli Tita was the flag bearer, replacing Alexandros Ginnis.
The Greek delegation includes cross-country skiers Apostolos Angelis and Konstantina Charalampidou, who participated in the parade in Predazzo, and alpine skier Maria Eleni Tsiovolou, who paraded in Cortina. Alexandros Ginnis will also participate in alpine skiing.
More than 3,500 athletes from 93 countries are participating in the Games, with Italy closing the parade as the host country. The Greek delegation is accompanied by coaches Timoleon Tsourekas, Christos Titas, Florian Putz, and Konstantinos Sykaras. The head of the delegation is Demosthenes Gyrusis.
