Winter Olympics: Athlete to Skate to Music from the Minions

Figure skater Tomás Guarino will represent Spain at the Winter Olympics with a unique musical choice.

The 26-year-old athlete had initially chosen to use music from the Minions for his program. However, Universal, the rights holder, initially did not grant him the necessary permission.

Following reports in major media outlets such as the New York Times, Variety, CNN, BBC and NBC's Today Show, Universal finally granted Guarino permission to use the music from the Minions.

Guarino expressed his delight at this development via social media, thanking everyone for their support.
