Cincinnati Open: Alcaraz vs Zverev in the Semifinals

Carlos Alcaraz (No. 2 in the world) and Alexander Zverev (No. 3) will meet in the semifinals of the Cincinnati Masters 1000 tournament on Friday.

The Spanish champion defeated Andrey Rublev with 6-3, 4-6, 7-5, while the German prevailed with 6-2, 6-2 against the American Ben Shelton.

In the first semifinal, the Frenchman Terence Atmane will face Jannik Sinner, the titleholder.

In the women's bracket, Coco Gauff was defeated by Jasmine Paolini. Paolini will face Veronika Kudermetova in the semifinals.
