Medvedev Loses at Wimbledon: First-Round Exit

Daniil Medvedev was defeated by Benjamin Bonzi 3-1 in sets, resulting in his exit from the first round of Wimbledon. This marks the first time Medvedev has been eliminated in the first round of Wimbledon.

The match concluded with a score of 7-6 (2), 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-2 in favor of Bonzi. Medvedev, ranked No. 14 in the world, had never been eliminated in the first round of Wimbledon until now.

This is Medvedev's second consecutive first-round exit from a Grand Slam, following Roland Garros.
