Rafael Pagónis Reaches ITF J30 Athens Semifinals

13-year-old Rafael Pagónis advanced to the semifinals of the ITF J30 in Athens, defeating 17-year-old Serbian Aleksa Postic 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.

In the next round, he will face Alkis Michalopoulos, who eliminated Italian Cesare Cataneo 6-3, 6-3. The two will also compete together in the doubles semifinals.

Grammatikakis also advanced to the semifinals, defeating Lase Zajc Gajsek 3-6, 6-2, 7-5. Dimitris Melissoglou was defeated by Zeno Roveri 6-3, 6-3.

In the girls' bracket, Konstantina Volonaki defeated Nefeli Fasoula 6-4, 6-2 and will face Gaia Donati. Katerina Oustampasidou was defeated by Sofia Zarugga 6-4, 6-0.

In girls' doubles, Venetia Leka and Aimilia Pantou will face Gaia Donati and Aurelia Sober, while Dionysia Koukouli / Maria Koukoutsi will play Francesca Fusio / Ariana Ovarelli.
