Roger Federer, the tennis legend with 20 Grand Slam titles, has become the sport's first billionaire. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the Swiss athlete's net worth is estimated at $1.3 billion.
During his career (2003–2022), Federer earned $130.6 million in prize money, with the majority of his wealth coming from endorsements and investments. Key partnerships include Rolex, Credit Suisse (now UBS), and Lindt. His deals are managed by Team8, co-founded with his manager, Tony Godsick, and Format A AG.
Other billionaire athletes include Michael Jordan ($3.5 billion) and Tiger Woods ($1.4 billion).
Federer's investment in the athletic shoe company On, of which he owns approximately 3% of the shares, is valued at $500 million.
