Sakkari Arrives in Australia for United Cup (VIDEO)

Maria Sakkari has arrived in Perth, Australia, to participate in the United Cup, strengthening the Greek team. The organizers welcomed her with a Greek flag and biscuits.

"My trainer won't be happy when he sees them, but it's okay," Sakkari said, adding: "I'll be here for about 1.5 months, I'll eat one a day or one every other day!"

Greece will face Japan (2/1), with Sakkari playing against Naomi Osaka (11.00). This will be followed by Stefanos Tsitsipas's match against Shintaro Mochizuki, and the mixed doubles.
