Sakkari starts Cincinnati tournament with a win

**Maria Sakkari** started the Cincinnati tournament with a win, defeating **Kamilla Rakhimova** 2-1 in sets. The Greek tennis player, despite facing difficulties, especially in the second set, managed to win with **3-6, 6-3, 2-6**.

In the next round, Sakkari will face Italian **Jasmine Paolini**, number 4 in the world rankings.

Sakkari started strong, making two breaks and taking the lead, while in the third set she dominated, comfortably reaching 6-2.
