Tsitsipas Learns His Opponent in Toronto

Stefanos Tsitsipas has learned his first opponent in the Toronto tournament. After directly qualifying for the second round, he will face Chris O'Connell.

The match will take place on Wednesday, July 30th. Chris O'Connell, 31 years old, is Australian and is ranked number 78 in the world.

O'Connell qualified by defeating Chun Hsin Tseng with 2-0 sets (6-1, 6-2). If Tsitsipas wins, he will likely face Alex de Minaur in the next round. Tsitsipas has resumed training with his father, Apostolos Tsitsipas.
