US Open: Alcaraz Defeats Sinner, Crowned 'King' of New York

Carlos Alcaraz won the US Open for the second time in his career, defeating Jannik Sinner 3-1 in sets (6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4).

With this victory, Alcaraz will return to No. 1 in the world rankings, displacing Sinner from the top spot after 65 weeks.

The 22-year-old Spanish tennis player has now reached 6 Grand Slam titles, and this was his 10th victory over Sinner in 15 encounters.

Throughout the tournament, Alcaraz had an impressive run, losing only one set in 7 matches.

After winning Cincinnati, Alcaraz rightfully returns to No. 1 in the world and gains a huge lead for the Year-end No. 1.
