US Open: Sakkari and Tsitsipas in the 2nd Round

Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas return to the US Open on Thursday.

Sakkari will face Anna Bondar at 18:00. The two players had met at the Fed Cup in 2019, where Sakkari won 2-0 sets. A win would take her to the 3rd round after 4 years.

Tsitsipas will play Daniel Altmaier between 00:00 and 01:00. At Roland Garros 2024, Tsitsipas had defeated the German with 3-1 sets.
