AI and Travel: Data Security and Planning

Kaspersky research reveals that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is widely used for travel planning, offering time savings and personalized recommendations. However, concerns about data security are increasing.

The research shows that 73% of users use AI to save time, while 65% use it to search for information and personalized recommendations. 63% use it to find deals and 61% for information that would otherwise be difficult to find.

48% of respondents are concerned about data security and avoid sharing sensitive information. Only 14% believe that sharing data with AI is completely safe.

Kaspersky suggests avoiding sharing personal data, verifying links and emails, and using security solutions.

The research was conducted in the summer of 2025 in 15 countries with 3,000 respondents.
