Apple: iPhone 17 Event on September 9th

Apple has announced an event on September 9th at 20:00 (Greek time) to unveil the new iPhone 17 series. The event, themed "Awe dropping," will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park in Cupertino and will be streamed live.

Reports suggest a refresh of the iPhone lineup is expected, potentially replacing the Plus model with a thinner "iPhone 17 Air" featuring a 6.6-inch screen and a thickness of 5.5mm. The base iPhone 17 is rumored to have a 6.3-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In addition to the iPhones, new generations of Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 are expected, as well as AirPods Pro 3 with a new design and improved noise cancellation. Apple is also expected to present details about iOS 26 and new artificial intelligence capabilities within Apple Intelligence.

Apple continues its pre-recorded presentations, a practice it has followed since 2020.
