CITEA 2025: Focus on Digital Innovation and Awards

The 4th CITEA DIGITAL CYPRUS CONFERENCE took place on June 20, 2025, in Nicosia, focusing on the contribution of digital technologies to business development.

The conference, themed "Driving Business Success through Digital Technologies," highlighted digital innovation as a key tool for enhancing competitiveness and strategic growth.

During the event, organized by the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association, topics such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, and cybersecurity were analyzed.

The Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Nikodimos Damianos, emphasized the importance of technology for the Cypriot economy. The President of CITEA, Dimitris Nisiotis, referred to the association's role in shaping a digital ecosystem.

At the CITEA 2025 Awards ceremony, Panikos Akritas was posthumously honored for his overall contribution, while the CITEA Women in Tech 2025 award was presented to Maria Militopoulou.

The conference concluded with a networking reception.
