Google Messages is introducing a new 'unsend' feature, allowing users to recall messages that have already been sent. This feature, available through the RCS (Rich Communication Services) protocol, gives users 15 minutes after sending a message to delete it from all recipients' devices.

To use the feature, users can long-press the message they sent and select 'Delete for Everyone.' This option will remove the message from all phones. Google has released this feature in response to a long-standing request from Android users.

This feature provides a safety net for instances such as sending a message to the wrong person, typos, or changing your mind about a message sent in haste.
