In 1939, two young engineers, William Hewlett and David Packard, started a small partnership in a wooden garage at 367 Addison Avenue, Palo Alto, California. This partnership evolved into Hewlett-Packard (HP), one of the most iconic technology companies of the 20th century.

That garage is now considered 'the birthplace of Silicon Valley'.
