Volvo Debuts Abbey Road Studios Mode Technology in EX90

Volvo aims to enhance the acoustic experience in its models by introducing Abbey Road Studios Mode technology.

This technology will debut in all Volvo EX90s equipped with the optional Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity Audio system and will be available for free via an over-the-air update in the coming weeks.

Abbey Road Studios Mode is a collaboration between Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road Studios, offering preset settings for various listening styles, as well as Producer Mode for personalized sound.

The over-the-air update is part of Volvo's effort to continuously improve its models through software. In future EX90 and ES90 models with the Bowers & Wilkins sound system, the feature will be standard equipment.

The Volvo EX90 features 25 speakers and, with the optional Bowers & Wilkins sound system, offers a 1610-watt audio environment with Dolby Atmos.

Volvo can perform over-the-air updates on approximately 2.5 million cars from 2020 in 85 countries.
