Roblox: Addiction Risks and Parental Control

Andreas Konstantinidis, Director of Managed Services at Odyssey-CyberSecurity, spoke on the Alpha Enimerosi show about the risks and opportunities of the Roblox platform.

He explained that Roblox is a platform with many games and the ability for users to create games. Children can learn the platform's programming language and create their own games.

Mr. Konstantinidis emphasized the addictive nature of the games, as well as the importance of limits that parents must set. He mentioned that Roblox has now set age limits and controls for parents, who can link their children's accounts to their own to set limits.

He added that in order for a child to talk to other players, age verification is required, but this can easily be bypassed.
