Robots and Drones Deliver Food in the US

Technology is changing the way food delivery is done in the US, with robots and drones taking over deliveries.
According to the Wall Street Journal, customers are often dissatisfied with traditional delivery services due to delays and poor food quality. Robotics and drone delivery companies have attracted investments of over $3.5 billion since 2019 to solve these problems.
Coco Robotics robots have already made over 500,000 deliveries in cities across the US and Europe, while drones from Zipline and Wing (a subsidiary of Alphabet) are delivering food from chains like Panera and Wendy's.
These technologies promise to improve speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, although regulatory hurdles and technical challenges still exist.
Additionally, systems like Acrelec's Double Check ensure that orders are complete before leaving the store.
