Three 22-Year-Olds Become Billionaires with AI Company

Three 22-year-old Americans, Adarsh Hiremath, Brendan Foody, and Surya Midhi, have become the world's youngest billionaires, according to Forbes.
They founded the startup Mercor in 2023, an AI software platform supporting Silicon Valley's largest AI labs.
The company was valued at $10 billion in October, making each of the three co-founders worth $2.2 billion. Surya Midhi is the president, Brendan Foody is the CEO, and Adarsh Hiremath is the CTO.
Forbes lists 71 self-made billionaires aged 39 or younger as of December 2025. Edwin Chen of Surge AI is the wealthiest self-made billionaire under 40, with a net worth of $18 billion.
