Air Travel: The Golden Age of First Class

The 1970s are considered the golden age of first-class air travel. Passengers enjoyed amenities such as a pianist playing music and flight attendants serving caviar with white gloves.
First class in the 60s and 70s featured leather seats, in-flight lounges, and champagne served on silver platters, resembling a dream flight. Boeing 747 aircraft had cocktail lounges, and foie gras was served on porcelain plates with live music.
