Trevi Fountain: €2 Entry Fee for Tourists Starting February

Starting February 1st, tourists wishing to visit the Trevi Fountain in Rome will have to pay an entry fee of €2.
The Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, confirmed the news, clarifying that entry will remain free for residents of Rome and its suburbs.
The municipality estimates that the revenue from ticket sales will amount to at least €6 million annually.
