Passenger Avoids €200 Baggage Fee, Goes Viral (Video)

A passenger went viral after successfully avoiding a €200 fee for an overweight carry-on bag on a Vueling flight to London. The woman, named Arina, forcefully pushed her suitcase into the baggage sizer at the Paris airport.

The video, posted on TikTok, shows Arina struggling to fit her yellow suitcase into the size checker. Despite initial difficulties, she eventually managed to push it in, thus avoiding the fine.

Arina stated that she was sure her suitcase would fit, as she had checked its dimensions before purchasing it. The airport employee seemed surprised that the suitcase ultimately fit, according to Arina.

Vueling allows carry-on baggage with dimensions up to 40x30x20 cm. Passengers exceeding the limit may pay up to €75. Some airlines, such as Ryanair, EasyJet, and Wizz Air, give bonuses to employees who identify passengers with oversized baggage.
