In a recent article, the British newspaper Express states that Ios combines the positive aspects of Mykonos and Santorini, boasting impressive beaches, ancient monuments, museums, and gastronomic options. Furthermore, Vagabond from Scandinavia, mentions Ios as one of the destinations reviving the authentic Cyclades, with 32 kilometers of coastline and turquoise waters.

The president of the Tourism Committee of the Municipality of Ieton, Antonis Mettos, stated that the alternation of contrasts gives the island a unique identity, mentioning the new Gaitis - Simosi museum, historical monuments, gastronomy, tourist services, beaches, hiking, diving, cycling, sea excursions, and nightlife.
