Spanish Influencer Stranded at Airport Due to ChatGPT Advice

Spanish influencer Mery Caldas missed her flight to Puerto Rico because ChatGPT incorrectly told her she didn't need a visa to enter the United States.

Caldas, a TikToker, was preparing to attend a Bad Bunny concert but was stopped at the airport when authorities informed her that a visa was required. She stated that she had asked ChatGPT about the travel requirements, and the AI assured her that a visa was not necessary.

In a TikTok video, Caldas expressed her frustration and mentioned that perhaps ChatGPT was taking "revenge" as she sometimes insults it. Her TikTok followers responded with humor and advice, suggesting she consult the US Embassy instead of ChatGPT.

Eventually, Caldas and her partner managed to travel to Puerto Rico. The influencer no longer trusts artificial intelligence for travel information.
