A new trend is emerging in the world of luxury travel, where wealthy travelers are choosing anonymity and discretion over popular destinations like Mykonos.

According to Bloomberg, traditional symbols of social status have now been overrun by influencers, leading travelers to seek destinations that offer greater privacy and exclusivity.

Jacqueline Sienna India, CEO of Sienna Charles, emphasizes the shift towards places like Lake Orta instead of Lake Como, Corsica instead of Cannes, Patmos instead of Mykonos, and Menorca instead of Mallorca.

This change is also influencing the way major hospitality groups design their resorts, emphasizing the protection of privacy.

Other destinations mentioned include Èze in France, Lake Jasna in Slovenia, and the Dolomites in Italy.
