Travel Advisory for the Middle East: Cyprus Mentioned

The British Foreign Office has issued a travel advisory for at least 18 countries in the Middle East region, including Cyprus, citing an "increased risk of regional tension."

The advisory states that the ongoing crisis and violence within Iran are a cause for concern. It advises Britons to take precautions when traveling to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Turkey, Oman, Jordan, Qatar, and other countries.

The Foreign Office warns that escalating tensions could cause travel problems and other unforeseen consequences.
