World's Largest Residential Building Located in Ukraine

The world's largest residential building is located in Lutsk, Ukraine. This massive complex, measuring 2.75 kilometers long, houses over 10,000 residents.

Also known as "The Great Wall of China," the building is situated at the intersection of Sobornosti Avenue and Molodezhi Street. Its construction began in 1969, during the Soviet era, and was completed 11 years later.

It was created by architects RG Metelnitsky and VK Malovitsa. Upon completion, it was the longest residential building in the Soviet Union, and it remains unrivaled worldwide more than 40 years later.
