Haiti: Children Killed in Drone Attack at Gang Leader's Party

At least eight children were killed in a drone attack at a gang leader's birthday party in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince. According to local media, the kamikaze drone struck the party where the alleged gang leader was distributing gifts.
The target of the attack was Albert Stevenson, also known as "Djuma". It has not been clarified whether Stevenson was among the victims. Another gang leader, Jimmy Cherizier, known as "Barbecue", vowed revenge.
The Haitian government has been using explosive drones since March, with the support of Vectus Global, to combat armed groups controlling much of the capital. The legality of these operations is disputed, and reports of civilian casualties are increasing. The UN mission in Haiti estimates that at least 236 people were killed and 223 injured in drone operations between April and June.
