EU Sends Aid and €1 Million to Afghanistan After Earthquake

The European Commission announced it will provide aid to Afghanistan following the devastating earthquake, allocating €1 million for immediate assistance.

Commission spokesperson Eva Hrncírová stated that two EU humanitarian aid flights are expected to arrive in Kabul this week, carrying 130 tons of essential supplies.

This package adds to the EU's long-term commitment to supporting Afghanistan.
