Attacks on Churches in Nigeria: Seven Dead

Attacks on churches in Nigeria have resulted in the death of seven people. According to the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria for Kaduna State, Caleb Ma'aji, the attacks occurred on two churches in Ariko.
The Nigerian army announced that it rescued 31 citizens who had been abducted during an attack on a church in Kaduna State, in the northwest. The attack took place during the Easter service in the village of Ariko, in the Katsia region. Soldiers are pursuing the perpetrators.
Northwestern Nigeria has been plagued by violent crimes, mass kidnappings, and raids on villages.
