Japan: Knife Attack at Factory, 14 Injured

Fourteen people were injured in a knife attack at a heavy vehicle tire factory in central Japan, according to first aid services.
A spokesperson stated that a call was received from a neighboring rubber factory reporting "five or six people stabbed" and the use of a "spray-form liquid" during the attack.
Japanese media, including NHK, reported the arrest of a suspect for attempted murder. At least 6 of the 14 injured are hospitalized.
Violent crime is relatively rare in Japan.
