Turkey: Reactions to Video of Pole Dancing on Turkish Flag Pole

Turkish authorities have launched an investigation after a video surfaced showing a tourist pole dancing on a pole bearing the Turkish flag in the Nevsehir region.

Emre Caliskan, a member of parliament from the ruling AKP party, condemned the incident, stating that insulting national values is unacceptable. "The flag is our honor, the light of our eyes," he said in a post.

Authorities in Nevsehir are investigating the incident.
