Typhoon Uifa: Hong Kong Issues Warnings, Flights Cancelled

Authorities in Hong Kong have issued a strong wind warning as Typhoon Uifa approaches the region. Winds are expected to reach 120 km/h.

Approximately 500 flights have been cancelled and 400 are scheduled for later. Schools and kindergartens remain closed, and train services have been reduced.

Large waves are being observed on the eastern coasts of Hong Kong. Chinese provinces have been put on alert. In the Philippines, two people are missing after the typhoon passed through.
