Bolivia: Coca Cultivation Area Increased by 10%

The area of coca cultivation in Bolivia increased by 10% between 2023 and 2024, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Bolivia ranks third in the world in cocaine production.

Authorities attribute the increase to the activities of drug traffickers.
