Agathonisi: 26 Migrants and a Woman's Body Found

Coast Guard and Hellenic Police officers located 26 migrants and the body of a foreign woman in the Agathonisi area.

The rescued migrants were transferred by passenger-vehicle ferry to Pythagorio and then to the Samos Reception and Identification Center (RIC).

The woman's body was transferred to Vathy and then to the General Hospital of Samos for an autopsy.

The competent authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
